Cost on the road

What the T2 actually costs to put on the road. It has a petrol engine, so it is taxed on engine-capacity slabs and gets none of the electric-vehicle concessions.

The verdict

The T2 i-DM is the car that proved Pakistan wants plug-in hybrids: over a thousand bookings in its first days, enough that Jetour briefly stopped taking orders. It is easy to see why. For PKR 1.28 Crore you get the boxy presence of a Defender-styled off-roader, 360 hp and 610 Nm of combined output, around 90 km of claimed electric commuting and 1,100 km of combined range from the 70 litre tank. It undercuts the Chery Tiggo 9 PHEV by about PKR 9 Lakh and sits level with the Haval H6 PHEV while out-muscling both. The honest caveats: it is front wheel drive, so the off-road look writes cheques the driveline does not fully cash, the 3 kW home charging is slow for an 18.4 kWh pack, and the price has already wobbled once, with bookings suspended and resumed. If the look works for you, nothing electrified at the price has this much theatre.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of the Jetour T2 i-DM in Pakistan?

The Jetour T2 i-DM is priced at PKR 1.28 Crore in Pakistan (2026 — indicative, confirm with the dealer as prices move with taxes and exchange rates).

What is the electric range of the Jetour T2 i-DM?

The Jetour T2 i-DM drives up to 90 km on electric alone, then runs on petrol for longer journeys.

Where can I charge the Jetour T2 i-DM in Pakistan?

The Jetour T2 i-DM uses CCS2, Type 2 connectors. Charge it at public stations across Pakistan — see the live ChargePK map for chargers near you.

What is the electric range of the Jetour T2 i-DM?

The claimed figure is about 90 km on the NEDC cycle, with launch material citing up to 100. Plan on 60 to 70 km in real Pakistani driving with climate control, which still covers most daily commutes on electricity alone. Beyond that the 1.5 turbo hybrid system takes over, for a combined range of around 1,100 km.

How does the Jetour T2 i-DM charge?

Both AC and DC. On a home AC connection it draws about 3 kW, taking 6 to 7 hours for a full charge, effectively an overnight job. On a DC fast charger it goes 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes. The slow AC rate is the one real ownership niggle, since most PHEV charging happens at home.

Is the Jetour T2 i-DM all-wheel drive?

No. Despite the off-roader styling, the i-DM hybrid is front wheel drive with six terrain modes and crawl control. Buyers who want driven rear wheels must step to the petrol T2 2.0 XWD at PKR 1.36 Crore and give up the plug. For mostly tarmac driving with the occasional rough track, the FWD hybrid is the more sensible buy.

Why were Jetour T2 i-DM bookings suspended?

Jetour paused bookings on 3 September 2026 after its launch price-lock expired, citing a pending price increase, then resumed order intake with the listed price unchanged at PKR 1.28 Crore. The episode is a reminder that PHEV pricing is exposed to tax policy, so lock your price in writing with United Motors when you book.
