Charging this car

Charges at home, not at public stations

The Nora EV charges from an ordinary household 220V socket, and a full charge takes 6 to 8 hours. There is no DC fast charging, and Nora has not published the charging inlet standard, so compatibility with public chargers is unconfirmed. Ask the dealer to put the connector type in writing before booking.

The verdict

The Nora EV, officially the E-30, undercuts every four seat electric car in Pakistan except the Alektra pair, and its official lineup answers range anxiety in an unusual way: instead of a bigger battery, the two REEV variants add a small petrol generator that stretches the claimed range from 120 to 250 km on the Eco, and from 180 to 300 km on the Eco+. The trade is the same as every car in this class: 65 km/h, no ABS, no airbags, and charging only from a household socket, so it is a second car for the city, not a first car for the family. Judged as that, ex factory prices from PKR 19 Lakh and a 5 year battery and motor warranty make it the strongest paper value in the microcar segment. The brand is new, the claims are its own, and deliveries are only now reaching Karachi.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of the Nora EV in Pakistan?

The Nora EV is priced at PKR 19 Lakh–22.5 Lakh in Pakistan (2026 — indicative, confirm with the dealer as prices move with taxes and exchange rates).

What is the range of the Nora EV?

The Nora EV offers up to 300 km of range on a full charge.

Where can I charge the Nora EV in Pakistan?

At home. The Nora EV charges from an ordinary household 220V socket in 6 to 8 hours and has no DC fast charging. Nora has not published the charging inlet standard, so compatibility with public chargers is unconfirmed. Ask the dealer to confirm the connector type in writing.

Which Nora EV variant should I buy?

Four official variants, all with the same 4 kW motor: the Eco (PKR 19 Lakh, 9.1 kWh, 120 km claimed) covers short daily city running. The Eco REEV (PKR 20.5 Lakh) adds a small petrol generator for a claimed 250 km total. The Eco+ (PKR 21 Lakh, 15.1 kWh, 180 km) is the bigger battery without petrol, and the Eco+ REEV (PKR 22.5 Lakh, 300 km total) combines both. If you can charge at home every night, the Eco or Eco+ does the job; the REEV versions are for anyone who cannot.

Is the Nora EV's 300 km range claim realistic?

Understand what it includes. The 300 km figure belongs to the Eco+ REEV and counts the 70cc petrol range extender; on battery alone the Eco+ is rated 180 km and the base Eco 120 km. All figures are the brand's own claims at city speeds, not independently tested. Treat 120 km as the dependable all-electric planning number for the base car.

Is the Nora EV the same as the E-30?

Yes. E-30 is the official model name on Nora's price list; the car is marketed and searched for simply as the Nora EV. The official ex factory prices, effective 20 October 2026, run from Rs 1,899,999 to Rs 2,249,999 across the four variants.

Is the Nora EV safe for motorway driving?

It is not built for it. Top speed is 65 km/h, which is below practical motorway pace, and the car has four-wheel disc brakes but no ABS and no airbags. Like the Alektra, Honri and GUGO microcars it competes with, it is a low-speed city vehicle for school runs and bazaar trips, not intercity travel.
