Omoda & Jaecoo launched the Omoda 7 SHS-P in Pakistan on 7 August 2026 at an introductory ex-factory price of PKR 10,649,000, held under a price-lock offer until 31 August 2026. Bookings opened with a PKR 2,000,000 partial payment against that locked price.

It is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), badged SHS-P for Omoda's Super Hybrid System. It pairs a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and a dedicated hybrid transmission with an 18.4 kWh battery you charge from a plug, so it drives on electricity for short trips and switches to petrol for longer ones — it is not a pure EV, and you never have to rely on a charger.

Omoda claims more than 90 km of electric-only range on the WLTP cycle from the 18.4 kWh battery, and a combined range of around 1,200 km with a full tank and a full charge. Real-world electric range is usually lower than any lab figure, so treat 90 km as a best case for gentle city driving.

On the identical international Omoda 7 SHS-P, the 18.4 kWh battery takes DC fast charging up to 40 kW — roughly 20 minutes for a 10 to 80 percent top-up — and AC charging up to 7.4 kW, about three hours from empty on a home wallbox.
