NEVO Hunter Now Assembled in Pakistan: Price, Range and Charging
The first NEVO Hunter built in Pakistan rolled off Master Changan Motors’ line in Karachi on 27 October 2026, as reported by PakWheels. It is the same range extender pickup the company launched on 20 August at an introductory Rs 10,990,000, and the price has not moved with the switch to local assembly. Deliveries have started. Master Changan says the truck is booked out until February 2027.
The NEVO Hunter costs Rs 10,990,000 in Pakistan, for one version, the REEV Plus 4x4. It drives on electricity for a claimed 131 km on the NEDC cycle, then a 2.0 litre petrol engine generates power for a claimed 900+ km in total. It charges at up to 41 kW.
NEVO Hunter price and delivery
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Price | Rs 10,990,000 (introductory, ex factory) |
| Booking amount | Rs 2,200,000 |
| Versions | One: REEV Plus 4x4 |
| Deliveries | Started late October 2026 |
| Order book | Full until February 2027, per Master Changan |
“Introductory” leaves room for the price to rise, and tax could do it. The draft Auto Policy 2026-31 moves range extenders from about 1 percent sales tax to 6. On this truck that is roughly Rs 5.4 Lakh if Master Changan passes it on. It is still a draft and needs the IMF, the Economic Coordination Committee, the cabinet and a finance bill before it touches a showroom price.
Delivery is the other question. At launch, fully paid bookings were due from October 2026 and part paid ones from February 2027. With the company now saying it is booked to February, a booking placed today will most likely arrive after that. Ask the dealer for the month in writing before paying the booking amount.
What “assembled in Karachi” means
Master Changan says it went from installing equipment to building trucks in under 90 days, on a line set up for ladder frame range extender pickups. That is everything it has said about the build. There is no word on whether the trucks come from CKD or SKD kits, how many parts are made locally, or how many it can build a month. Until it publishes those numbers, the accurate description is locally assembled.
The Hunter is the first model from NEVO, Changan’s new energy brand, in Pakistan, and Master Changan has said NEVO will bring five models here over three years. The truck was first shown in Pakistan at PAPS 2025 as the Deepal K50 Hunter. Changan markets it as the world’s first REEV 4x4 truck. Whatever the global claim, it is the only range extender pickup on sale in Pakistan.
How the range extender works
Two electric motors drive all four wheels, making 240 kW (322 hp) and 529 Nm together, enough for a claimed 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The 2.0 litre turbo petrol engine never turns the wheels. It runs a generator that feeds the motors once the 31.18 kWh LFP battery runs down.
The 131 km electric figure is NEDC, the most generous of the common test cycles. Our range converter puts real mixed driving at about 75 percent of an NEDC claim, so plan on roughly 100 km per charge, and less with a loaded bed, the air conditioning on or a long motorway run. A buyer who charges at home and drives under 100 km a day will use little or no petrol on most days. Past that, the 70 litre tank takes over. Changan has not published fuel consumption on the generator, which is the number that decides what a long trip costs.
Charging the NEVO Hunter
The Hunter takes up to 41 kW on DC. Master Changan quotes 30 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes, which is around 15.6 kWh at an average near 31 kW. In practice any 60 kW public charger fills it as fast as the 360 kW units on the M-2, so there is no reason to wait for the big ones. Our DC fast charger price list has every option and what each charges per unit.
On AC the limit is 6.6 kW. A 7 kW home wall box takes it from empty to full in roughly five hours, an easy overnight job. Our charging cost guide works out what a 31 kWh fill costs on your tariff.
One gap matters for charging. Changan has not published the Hunter’s charging port for Pakistan. We list it with CCS2 for DC and Type 2 for AC, the standard on most EVs sold here, but confirm it at the dealer before buying a wall box or planning a motorway trip around fast chargers. Our connector guide explains why it matters.
The truck can also give power back. Its 3.3 kW outlet runs tools, lights or a campsite. Master Changan says a full battery and a full tank give 227 kWh to draw from, enough for a 1,000 W load for more than nine days. Most of that energy comes from the petrol, burned in the generator.

How it compares with the Hilux and other pickups
| Pickup | Powertrain | Price |
|---|---|---|
| NEVO Hunter | Range extender | Rs 109.9 Lakh |
| Toyota Hilux Revo G Automatic 2.8 | Combustion | Rs 129.39 Lakh |
| Riddara RD6 | Electric | Rs 132.99 to 169.99 Lakh |
| Deepal E07 | Electric | Rs 190 Lakh |
| BYD Shark 6 | Plug-in hybrid | Rs 199.5 Lakh |
| GWM Cannon Alpha PHEV | Plug-in hybrid | Coming soon |
The Hunter costs about Rs 19.5 Lakh less than the Hilux Revo G Automatic, going by PakWheels’ listed price, and at least Rs 23 Lakh less than any electric or plug-in pickup on sale. The Hilux keeps what a new brand cannot buy quickly: a dealer in every town, known resale value and parts on every shelf. The Hunter answers with more power, a 1,010 kg payload and daily running on home electricity. Every option is side by side on our electric pickups page.

What is the NEVO Hunter's price in Pakistan?
Rs 10,990,000. That is the introductory ex factory price for the only version, the REEV Plus 4x4, with a Rs 2.2 million booking amount. Local assembly has not changed it so far. The draft Auto Policy 2026-31 would raise sales tax on range extenders from about 1 to 6 percent, roughly Rs 5.4 Lakh on this truck if passed on.
Is the NEVO Hunter made in Pakistan?
It is assembled here. The first locally assembled unit rolled off Master Changan Motors' Karachi line on 27 October 2026. The company has not said whether it uses CKD or SKD kits, how much of the truck is made locally, or how many it can build a month.
When will a new NEVO Hunter booking be delivered?
Deliveries began in late October 2026, but Master Changan says the truck is fully booked until February 2027, so a booking placed now will most likely arrive after that. Ask the dealer for the delivery month in writing.
How far does the NEVO Hunter go on electric power?
Changan claims 131 km on the NEDC cycle. In mixed real driving expect roughly 100 km, and less with a loaded bed or at motorway speed; our range converter shows the working. After that the petrol range extender takes over, for a claimed total above 900 km on a full battery and the 70 litre tank.
How fast does the NEVO Hunter charge?
Up to 41 kW on DC, with 30 to 80 percent quoted at about 30 minutes, and 6.6 kW on AC, which takes the 31.18 kWh battery from empty to full in roughly five hours on a 7 kW wall box. Because it peaks at 41 kW, a 60 kW public charger charges it as fast as a 360 kW one.
What charging port does the NEVO Hunter use?
Changan has not published it for Pakistan. ChargePK lists the Hunter with CCS2 for DC and Type 2 for AC, the standard on most EVs sold here, but confirm it with the dealer before buying a wall box or relying on public fast chargers.
Is the NEVO Hunter cheaper than a Toyota Hilux?
Yes. At Rs 10,990,000 it costs about Rs 19.5 Lakh less than the Hilux Revo G Automatic 2.8, listed at Rs 12,939,000 by PakWheels. It is also the cheapest electrified pickup in Pakistan by at least Rs 23 Lakh.
What warranty does the NEVO Hunter get?
Master Changan has not published warranty terms. Gari.pk lists 8 years or 240,000 km on the battery. Get the terms in writing from the dealer before booking.
Can the NEVO Hunter power other devices?
Yes. It has a 3.3 kW vehicle to load outlet for tools, lights or camping gear. Master Changan says a full battery and full tank give 227 kWh to draw from, enough for a 1,000 W load for more than nine days, with most of that energy coming from the petrol generator.
